Improvements Added During the 2025 Season
Even after our 2025 updates page went live, we continued making changes throughout the season based on guest comments and suggestions. Last year we added:

Keurig Coffee Makers

We’ve added Keurig coffee makers to every room, giving you a little more flexibility to start your day your way. We’ll still provide coffee, but if you prefer to bring your own pods or pick some up while you’re here, you’ll be all set. It’s a small upgrade that makes those quiet mornings a bit more personal.
New Outdoor Room Lighting

We’ve updated the outdoor lighting outside every room for the 2026 season, giving the property a more modern look while improving visibility at night. It’s now easier to find your door and get settled in after a long day out, with lighting that’s brighter where you need it and softer where you don’t. A small change that makes coming back to your room feel just a little more comfortable.
New Door Locks & Keys

We’ve installed brand new door locks throughout the entire property — a major upgrade aimed at making your stay smoother from the moment you arrive. No more struggling with keys after a long day out — just quick, easy access to your room so you can get in, relax, and settle in right away.
Foot Washing Station

Guests have been asking for it, so we’ve added a dedicated spot to rinse off near our outdoor pool after long days at the beach. It’s a simple, convenient way to wash away the sand before heading back to your room (see how to get to the beach) and keep things a little cleaner and more comfortable throughout your stay.
Larger Refrigerators

In our rooms with Two Double Beds, we’ve upgraded from 1.7 cu ft mini fridges to larger 3.2 cu ft refrigerators. That means more space for drinks, leftovers, and anything you pick up while exploring (maybe lobster rolls..?) — making it a little easier to settle in and enjoy your stay.
New Mirrors & Artwork
Nouveaux miroirs et œuvres d'art
In our rooms with Two Double Beds, we’ve updated both the sink mirror and the main room mirror with a cleaner, more modern look. We’ve also refreshed the artwork with fun, contemporary beach scenes to brighten up the space. It’s a subtle shift that helps the rooms feel a bit more polished — and a direction you may start to see in other areas of the property (explore our rooms) as the season goes on.
New Wall-Length Curtains

To round out the updates in our Two Double Bed rooms, we’ve added new floor-to-ceiling curtains to make the space feel a bit more cozy and private. They also do a better job blocking out early morning light, making it easier to rest and recharge during your stay (view our rooms).
We’re excited to share what we’ve been working on for the 2026 season at Ocean Acres Ogunquit. From upgraded rooms and new in-room amenities to property-wide improvements, these updates reflect the time and care we put in each offseason — always with your stay in mind.
